The above photographs are of a Gold Crackle "plasti-kote" spray paint finish as applied to our 32 string harp.
Prior to applying this type of finish its advisable study the manufactures technical specification carefully at the place of purchase. The reason being that many modern finishes require ventilation facilities not available to the amateur wood worker, also the cleaning solvents require careful handling and waste disposing facilities.
Should you have the facilities specified by the manufacturer experiment by applying the required finish on a similar material until you have the achieved the desired finish.
